Dear families,
We are very excited to inform you that Y1 will be going on an educational visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster to explore and learn about all the different animals. This visit will conclude our learning from our science unit ‘Animals’. If you would like to find out more information about the park then please visit https://www.yorkshirewildlifepark.com/.
The visit will take place on Tuesday 2nd July. We aim to leave school at 9.00am, children need to be in school by 8.30am promptly to ensure we leave school on time. We expect to return by 3.30pm but if there are any delays the office team will contact you by 3.00pm. Please make sure your contact details are correct at the main office. We are asking for a contribution of £23.00 per child for the entrance fee, an educational interactive session with a zoo keeper and the coach.
Cold weather and rain
All children must wear sensible clothing and shoes. They will also need to wear a warm, weather-proof coat. Please ensure your child’s name is written in their coat.
Hot weather
All children must wear full school uniform including sensible shoes. They will also need to wear a hat and sun-cream to protect them. Please ensure your child’s name is written in their school jumper.
Lunch
All children will be provided with a free pack lunch by school. All you will need to provide your child is a drink in a bottle with their name on.
