Nursery children had a fabulous sports day. They enjoyed doing the obstacle course and had fun cheering each other on.

Day 1 - Y4 Residential

The children have really enjoyed their first day of the Y4 residential trip. They have taken on an obstacle course and wall & rock climbing. They will all sleep soundly tonight!

In nursery, we had to use our problem solving skills to get water from one tray to another for the sea creatures. The children worked together as a team to set up different equipment to do this. It was a success!

Dear families

Please can children bring in a strong carrier bag this week, as they will be bringing home their exercise books from this year.

Students have arrived safe and sound at the residential, and are now in teams completing fun challenges such as obstacles courses. It's a beautiful day in the Peak District!

Year 6 have been learning about the circulatory system in science and so we have investigated the structure of a heart. We had a great time dissecting a sheep's heart: finding the four chambers, veins and arteries. Some pupils were a little nervous at first, but everyone got stuck in and we had great fun!

Weather depending we are hoping to hold our infant school sports day on Monday 15th July 🤞. Please see timings and information below

Y1 & Y2 - 9.30 - 12noon FS2 - 1.15 - 3pm

Families are invited to attend to cheer the children on, events will take place on our school field. Pupils will need to attend school in their P.E kits and bring their water bottle. We look forward to seeing you there!
